Liverpool beats Chelsea- Premier League diary

The Reds (Liverpool F.C.) snatched victory from Chelsea; this Sunday. The two to zero defeat was a vital achievement for the club on its road to the Premier League Cup. The scorers from Liverpool were Sadio Mane and Salah, both players scored magnificent goals and ensured Liverpool’s smooth run over Chelsea.

Funnily enough, Liverpool faced a two to nil defeat at the hands of Chelsea in 2013-14 season, which ultimately fenced their hopes of winning the Premier League.  The loss was humiliating for the Red fans as it happened in Anfield (Liverpool’s home ground). Liverpool is closer than ever to putting an end to a 29-year wait to be the Champions of English football.

Sadio Mane headed the ball in the net on the fifty first minute after Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson crossed the ball to him. Mane’s goal procured a lead against Chelsea, when two minutes later Salah scored another goal; reinforcing Liverpool’s success at the game. Van Dijik long balled Salah, and Salah stroke an inspiring shot from 25 meters away. The diagonal shot landed in the top corner; leaving the Liverpool fans in exuberance and the Chelsea fans in dismay.

Chelsea’s efforts to level the score were admirable, but they failed to get lucky, that day.

It is going to be a huge excitement for the Liverpool fans if Liverpool manages to conquer the Premier League chart.
